Dolcetto d’Alba DOC ‘Madonna di Como’

label image label image

Tasting Notes

100% Dolcetto from estate-owned vineyards located in Madonna di Como, in the commune of Alba. Aged in stainless steel vats for 6 months, it retains the varietal freshness. A very generous Dolcetto d’Alba that shows dried blackberries, frozen elderberries, black raspberries and citrus. Firm and structured on the medium-bodied palate, where a steely line of acidity and tannins runs right through the vivacious dark fruit.

Thanks to its freshness and perfume, it goes very well with Piedmontese starters, such as carne cruda all’Albese (finely sliced row beef), insalata russa Russian salad and vitello tonnato (veal with tuna sauce), as well as with first courses like tajarin and agnolotti. It is great with meat dishes too.
