Tasting Notes

‘Giunco’ is straw yellow in color with pale green highlights. There are hints of ripe tropical fruit on the nose, especially pineapple and mango. It is full-bodied on the palate with a long and dry finish. Pairs well with fish soups, grilled fish, and fresh pecorino cheeses.

2012 vintage rated 91 points by International Wine Cellar – Ian D’Agata writes: “Really great stuff:  this is one of the best Sardinian vermentinos of the vintage.” (April 2014)

2014 vintage rated 90 points by Wine & Spirits Magazine (June 2016)
