Merlot Venezia DOC

Tasting Notes
Cultivated in Veneto and Friuli since the middle of the 19th century, Merlot has by now become naturally acclimatized to this area which produces smooth, full-bodied wines of unmatched quality that are excellent as an accompaniment for the typical seasoned dishes traditional of north-eastern Italy.
TSA Merlot is an intense ruby red in color. Striking are the aromas of red berry fruit and cherries, the notes of freshly mown grass, a hint of green peppers and, finally, in the background, mineral sensations. It is extremely pleasant on the palate with round and elegant tannins, yet freshness and minerality resulting from vinification in stainless steel. A great food wine. Try it with cold cut appetizers or crostini, hearty pastas, lasagne or gnocchi with meat sauce, beef stews, game dishes and medium-aged cheeses.
