Tasting Notes

La Galope is a fresh, grassy and citrus-scented Sauvignon Blanc from the heart of Gascony. Sand and clay-limestone soils combined with the temperature mountain and ocean-influenced climate are ideally suited for the production of high quality Sauvignon Blanc. Enjoy this intensely aromatic dry wine any time: it is lovely as an aperitif and delicious with all seafood dishes and salads.

Vinification

Mechanical harvest with on-board sorter. To maintain aromas the grapes are harvested early in the morning and immediately taken to the state-of-the-art inertys press to reduce risk of oxidation during the delicate pressing phase. After cold stabilisation and removal of heavy organic matter, the wine ferments slowly and gently at 16 degrees Celcius.

Aging

On lees and agitation of fine sediment with constant temperature control.
