Tasting Notes

“Dardi le Rose” is a traditional-style Barolo from one of the oldest, most historical crus in Barolo. Deep, intense ruby-red in color. Its bouquet is rich, refined, and delicately spiced, bringing out floral tones mingled with red berry fruit and tar. It is full-bodied and well-structured on the palate with supple tannins and notes of ripe fruit and licorice. Extraordinary aging capacity. Despite its strong personality, this Barolo can be enjoyed with red meat, ground game, aged cheeses, and even very rich fish dishes.

Unfiltered. Traditional-style Barolo, aged in Slavonian oak barrels for 24-28 months.

Type of Planting



Harvest takes place between the 10th and 20th of October. The grapes are crushed and destemmed, then macerated on the skins for approximately 12 to 15 days at controlled temperatures.


Malolactic fermentation is completed before winter sets in. The wine is transferred to Slavonian oak cases in the Spring, where it ages for 24 to 28 months, and it is then bottled without filtering.
